Fall Must-Haves!
1. Oversized Plaid Blanket Scarves. As classic as a piece like this may be, it's really having a trendy moment. Perfect way to stay warm while still looking chic. I've always had an affinity for plaid. It reminds me of my grade school uniforms. It also has a Celtic feel to it; which of course, as an Irish girl, I can appreciate.
2. Green & Grey Nail Polish. Feeling these two hues for the season. A couple options: OPI Gwen Stefani Holiday, Christmas Gone Plaid. Chanel Frenzy.
3. Booties. My favorite style of shoe is definitely a must-have for Fall! I'm not into wearing true heels very often. Booties are the best of both worlds. A little extra height without any discomfort? Yes, please. Loving my new blue suede shoes. Matt Bernson Coup D'etat Leather Ankle Boots.
4. Brixton Messer Style Hats. Blacks, Browns, Mulberrys... I'll take two in every color and style. I'm truly a hat type of lady. Love that these are having a major style comeback.
5. Capes. For the past few years, I've been living in these throws during the colder months. When Burberry introduced their now iconic color block monogram blanket poncho, seemingly worn by every fashionista in the world, this type of piece really gained street style cred. This would be an incredible personalized DIY look.
6. Bobbi Brown Holiday Shimmer Brick, Copper Diamond. The tortoise shell packaging alone was enough to sell me on this beauty. I love the shimmer bricks as a highlighter but they can also be used as eyeshadow. Get this limited edition shade while it's still available. They last forever. Incredibly gorgeous especially for the holidays or to add a touch of warmth when the sun is no longer shining.
7. A new lipstick- Browns, Berrys, & Burgundys, oh my! I've really been into these types of shades for the season. My new favorite lines to fall in love with are Charlotte Tilbury and Gucci; however, shades like this can be found in just about any line. Other brands to consider: Revlon, MAC.
8. Candles. As soon as the temps drop, I go candle crazy. I don't like to spend a lot on something so disposable but it's nice to indulge in a little bit of luxury every now and again. Any brand. Any scent (or lack thereof) will do! Candles add such magic to any atmosphere. Love.

Recently Purchased
1. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment.
I really wanted the cute little leopard travel bag and free goodies Elizabeth Arden was giving out so I picked this up to qualify. I've been looking for a good hand cream. I'm not in love with this one but it's good enough.
2. Clarins Intense Blue Eyeliner.
This is from the new Fall collection. It's somewhat of a midnight blue that leans a bit like a blackened purple. It goes really well with my fair skin and dark green eyes. The attached brush is also a nice touch.
3. Chanel Summer Collection Nail Polishes in Azure (657) and Bel-Argus (667).
I've really been drawn to these types of jewel-toned colors lately. These varnishes have a metallic finish to them and they're very pretty for manicures or pedicures.
4. Zara Studded Leather Bowling Bag.
I'm so glad I checked up on this bag because it went on sale. It's now one of my favorites in my collection. The color is perfect and the leather is supple. It's a good size but very lightweight. I hope I can keep her clean.
5. Sandals.
-Rampage Orbinksy Jelly (Nude with gold Bow)
-Rampage Oberdene Jelly (Black with gold Studs)
-Restricted Kally (Gold with colored Jewels)
As much as I wish I was a high heel type of girl, I'd much rather be comfortable in the summer. These flat sandals are fun and easy to throw on and off. I love that jellies are back in style. I got all 3 on sale. Nice for the pool.
6. Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Primer.
I was never a fan of foundation primer until I tried this out. I have very dry skin and moisturizing is key for me. Because I shower at night, sometimes I don't have the time when I'm getting ready in the day to apply cream and allow it to settle into my skin. This product is the perfect solution.
7. Kate Spade Mikas Pond Stacy Leather Wallet in Gold.
My favorite color. I love this! It's so cute and looks perfect with my new Zara bag.
8. Memory Card Reader.
I've said for months on end that I'm going to transfer all of my pictures and video from my BlackBerry (5 years worth) onto my computer. I finally ordered something to make this happen. Let's hope it works because I need to join the rest of civilization already and get an iPhone (and Instagram)!
9. Waverly and Irving Champagne Mason Jar Candles (not pictured).
My new favorite scent. I picked a few of these up on Gilt. I don't like to pay a lot for candles (note to self: learn how to pour your own) but these were worth it. Champagne and candles are among my favorite things in life. It's about time I combined the two.

New Kicks on the Block
Pour La Victoire
Agalia Platform Booties, Dark Grey
On sale, Shopbop.com
Yes, I really did title this post "New Kicks on the Block" but what can I say? A good sale gets me excited to the point where I start to use puns. These booties are probably going to make me 5'10" and look like some sort of modern Marie Antoinette wannabe but they're fun. I'll probably fall.

Things That Actually Exist: THE HEEL CONDOM
I was reading a beauty blog when I came across a post raving about these so-called condom heels or heel condoms... whichever. Call me crazy, but those mint green ones are adorable. Would I wear it on any day other than Halloween? Probably not but they are kind of artistic in an infomercial, gimicky sort of way.

Sole Sisters
I'm not a shoe person. They usually bore me. But I was in need of a few new pairs for fall/winter. Here are a couple of the ones I bought online. Of course, I got both of them on sale!
These are the perfect fall shoe! They will go with so many outfits. I love that they give me height (I'm 5'4") but provide comfort because of the wedge. They also manage to make my size 8.5 feet look rather small. These are fantastic! Love!
