Fragrances

"Scent is the strongest sense tied to memory..."

1. What is your favorite winter scent?
Just about all of my perfumes are suitable for year round wear. I'd say Gucci Guilty might be the most winter-leaning? It's definitely an evening perfume.

2. On a lazy day I reach for...
Victoria's Secret Heavenly or Desire. I'll spritz it on when I'm just lounging around the house or running errands. It smells beautiful and doesn't cost a fortune.

3. What would you use when you are going on a date?
This would depend on the time of day (night, I assume) and where we were going but Dior Addict 2 is a sexy, feminine fragrance that I love. Chanel Chance has been my signature scent since college, so I might go with that for a first date.

4. What is your high school signature scent?
J'adore by Dior. I still have the last bottle I purchased with a tiny bit left. The scent takes me back to dances, dates, cheerleading games, visiting my sister at WVU for the first time and so much more! I still love it but I don't want to mix up my memories :)

5. What's your current love?
At the moment, I like Vera Wang and just about anything from Burberry (especially The Beat and Brit Sheer).

6. What is your favorite summer scent?
Marc Jacobs' Daisy but it works for any time of the year. I get so many compliments when I wear this one. It's suitable for day/evening, casual/formal, young/old. Men and women seem to like this. It's quite versatile.

7. Name a perfume that you regret buying.
I got this as a gift (I asked for it) so it's not exactly a regret but Victoria's Secret Ooh La La is not my favorite. I thought the bottle was cute (in a childish sort of way) but I don't like it very much.

8. What is the first perfume you remember wearing?
In grade school, I wore Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger and in middle school, I loved Noa by Cacharel and Pleasures by Estee Lauder. Lancome Tresor is one of the first perfumes I vivdly remember smelling and enjoying because my Mother wore it.

9. What perfume is on your wish list?
Chloe. I've admired it for years but I wanted to save it for my (at the moment nonexistant) wedding day. I'm not sure if that will ever happen, so I've decided to use it as my mid-late 20s signature scent. I have a miniature bottle but I'm going to wait until I get the full sized one for my next birthday to start wearing it.
