1313 Mockingbird Lane
I just realized The Munsters are on Netflix! It's one of my all-time favorite television shows! I recently did a haunted trivia night and got the question "Who lived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane?" Too easy! The characters would make a great family or group of friends' costume for Halloween! Love them all :)

Heartbeats
I was in the mood to watch a movie last night so I hopped on Netflix. It recommended Heartbeats for me. Per usual, I had never heard of this particular film and didn't expect much from it. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Yes, it could have been at least ten minutes shorter and it's not exactly perfect but it's a good watch.
In the movie, two friends (a male and a female) are in a love triangle of sorts with another man. He is Nicolas (played to perfection by Niels Schneider) and is pretty much gorgeous. Schneider could not have been better casted. He reminded me of a cross between Paolo Nutini, actor Taylor Handley (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, '06), a dreamy guy I dated in college and a Greek god. Deep breath.
The movie is in French with English subtitles which I actually liked. The cinematography is quite lovely as well. There is one particular scene that used one of my favorite songs, "Pass This On" by The Knife. That was the best use of a song in a movie that I have seen in a very, very long time.
Despite the overabundance of hipsters, this is a genuinely good movie. It made me laugh out loud quite a bit.
7/10.

The Babysitters
Now I wouldn't necessarily recommend this movie to everyone (it definitely is far from excellent) but it does have its strong points. I took a lot of humor away from it, but that's probably just my twisted mind at work. What I enjoyed the most about this film is this quote:

Unmade Beds
I love Netflix because it suggests movies I otherwise would not have the pleasure of knowing. Unmade Beds is a perfect example. It's an absolutely beautiful picture and I highly suggest checking it out!

Life in a Day
I came across this profound film on Netflix. It documents the lives of various individuals throughout the world over the course of one day (July 24, 2010). It's a beautiful timecapsule of a movie that will be wonderful for future generations to watch. I wish there were this type of documentation from the many monumental moments throughout history. In particular, I would be enamored by video footage from the Renaissance era!

Conversations with Other Women
"If the cardiologist decides that you are too old and decrepit and ugly to be at all lovable, I am available to tolerate you in your golden years."
I found this little gem of a movie via Netflix. It reminds me a lot of my favorites, Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. If you liked those films or are interested in a unique picture that truthfully displays human interaction, I highly suggest checking this one out. Helena Bonham Carter is superb!
