If you're stateside and observing, I hope you have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend! As far as I'm concerned, it's the unofficial start to summer. My older sister was born on Memorial Day 1984 (her birthday falls on a Tuesday this year), so we've always had a party to celebrate. My Dad is a Vietnam vet, so the flag flies as well. If you're American, take the time to be thankful for the country we live in- the U.S. is far from where it needs to be but its come such a long way from where she started.

What are your favorite names?
Anything unique and original but not completely ridiculous. If I have a boy, he will be named Roman (my last name) because our family surname stops with my sister and me. For a girl, I like Vivian.

What do you most value in your friends?
Loyalty, humor, shared interests...

I'm very intuitive. I'm an Aquarian through and through.

What social movement do you most admire?
Marriage equality. There is plenty of hate in the world. If two people love each other, it should be celebrated not persecuted.

Which fault in others do you most easily tolerate?
I'm an excellent listener and actually care about others' feelings. If I'm friends with someone, I can deal with people who have the tendency to make the conversation all about them. I don't need to be the center of attention.

What is your biggest weakness?
I'm very sensitive and cry very easily. Others might see this as a weakness but I just like to think that I'm aware of my emotions.

Cream, gold, sage green, pink, lavender, blue...
