Shake Shake Shake

I live in Pittsburgh. Never felt an Earthquake in my life. It just doesn't happen here. But today's quake in Richmond, VA could be felt. The only thing I noticed was a mirror on my wall was shaking and the ever so slightest sway. I've always wanted to experience a real Earthquake... without any injuries or damage, of course, but this 5.9er left me with Mother Nature's equivalent of blue balls. I almost envy my friends in the buildings of downtown Pittsburgh and DC who legitimately witnessed desks shaking. That sounds really messed up, huh? I can blame Saved by the Bell for this twisted, little desire. It had an Earthquake episode that made me feel left out. All we ever experienced in school was snow days and fire drills. Don't get me wrong, I'm fortunate to live in a place that is generally safe from major natural disasters but the thrill of a little danger every now and again can really liven things up. I'm curious to see if Elenin/Nibiru or HAARP will be blamed for this one.
