Cold Water Therapy

Over the past 25 years, I've almost exclusively taken warm bubblebaths or SCALDING HOT showers. Last night, the heat and humidity got the best of me and I decided that a cold shower would probably be a nice reprieve. I was right! The icy water was a bit uncomfortable at first but after a few moments, it felt unbelievably great. I don't know why I wasted so many years without ever giving this alternative a real shot. I often splash cold water on my face or spritz it from a bottle but showers? Nope. How wrong I've been!

I felt so wonderful after my shower session that I did a bit of research to find out if this sort of activity might be beneficial to my health. It turns out, cold showers are actually really good for you!
