Things I'm currently coveting! I strongly believe that if you dare to dream and put positive energy into the Universe, things have an unbelievable way of finding you :)

Diamond Stud Earrings. Goes with everything!

Walk-In Closet! I'm dying to convert my sister's old bedroom into my little sanctuary.

-Visit my sister in Florida while she travel nurses
-Back to New Orleans for Mardi Gras or Voodoo
-Kentucky Derby
-Washington, DC
-New York City
-Lily Dale, NY
-Nashville to visit my friend Maggie/Steeler Game
-California Wine Country
-San Diego for the Steeler Game
-Lollapalooza or Austin City Limits

Pittsburgh- One of the Best Places in the World to Visit in 2012!

National Geographic Traveler has named my city, Pittsburgh, as one of the top 20 places to visit in 2012! It is the only place in the United States (along with Sonoma, CA) that made the list. I actually think I'm going to make it to Sonoma next fall, so this is pretty cool.

National Geographic describes Pittsburgh...
Extreme Metropolitan Makeover
Three rivers. One reinvented city. On all counts, the Steel City’s transformation over the past quarter century qualifies as revolutionary. Its mourning for its industrial past long concluded, this western Pennsylvania city changed jobs and reclaimed its major assets: a natural setting that rivals Lisbon and San Francisco, a wealth of fine art and architecture, and a quirky sense of humor.
Pittsburgh’s century-wide swath of architectural styles persuaded British film director Christopher Nolan to use downtown as a stand-in for Gotham City in this summer’s Dark Knight Rises. Sustainable design has transformed Victorian landmarks like the glass-domed Phipps Conservatory and created contemporary ones like the swooping waterfront convention center.

So many people are surprised at how beautiful Pittsburgh is with its rolling hills and gorgeous skyline.  The people here are incredibly down to earth, friendly and real as they come. I love my hometown and I'm so proud to be from here! If you're ever in the area, send me an email. I'd love to have a beer with you!

Debauchery In the Desert Tour!

Can't wait for my first trip to the desert... finally! Looking forward to gambling, champagne limo trips, tailgating Arizona style, Steelers, wine tasting, rocks and so much more! I'm staying at the Flamingo, so I'm going to "keep an eye out" for the spirit of Bugsy Siegel (he supposedly still haunts the hotel) and I'll be looking up in Phoenix for the lights!

I Got The Voodoo For You Bitches

In this intimate look into one of my facebook chats, a Baltimore Ravens enthusiast (also a friend from college), admits that Pittsburgh Steeler fans travel better than anyone. I was discussing how New Orleans looked like Pittsburgh last October with all the yinzers in town for the game, Voodoo Fest & Halloween. It was more black & yellow than black & gold on Bourbon! I can't wait to go back! Laissez les bons temps rouler!
