Music Monday: Amen Dunes

It's been quite a long time since I've been compelled to share a Music Monday post but I have not stopped listening to the newest release from Amen Dunes. I was on Twitter the other night and by happenstance, I read a timely Pitchfork tweet of a live link to their show in Brooklyn. Instantly a fan. I had listened to a few of Amen Dunes' older songs many years ago but never truly connected until this week. Here are a few of their latest songs that I've had on repeat:

"Believe"

"Blue Rose"

"Skipping School"

"Dracula"

Damon McMahon is the mastermind behind New York's Amen Dunes. Their latest album, Freedom, is out now and can be purchased here.

Stop Trying to Make FETE Happen!

As I was checking twitter this morning, I was led to this HUFFPOST STYLE article about Michelle Obama's holiday ensemble. In the headline and opening sentence alone, I was met with two variations of the word FETE. Make it stop! It's getting ridiculous. The last time I checked, the word party had a good connotation.

UPDATE 12:33 PM:

HUFFPOST STYLE strikes again!
