Want, Need, Wear, Read

Want: A tufted headboard! The piece that I have now matches my bedroom suite but it's so bulky. A new, slimmer headboard would give me a bit more space, be more comfortable and give an updated look to my furniture. I love all things tufted so I'm on the lookout for a good one.

Need: Drink more water! I love water and always have a bottle with me but I'm on a mission to drink 100 ounces every day. My skin is dry and in the winter it gets even more dehydrated. Not only is drinking more water excellent for anti-aging and skincare but overall health as well. 100 ounces sounds like a lot but it's actually what's recommended.

Wear: LBD for a wedding this weekend. I didn't have a lot of time to browse but this is comfortable and fun. Anything with a touch of gold and I'm sold. This one is by Tahari-Levine.

Read: Magazines! I'm subscribed to so many but have fallen behind on my perusing. I'm hoping to set aside a day next month when I can light some candles, have some drinks and catch up on all my issues (that's an understatement).

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

THE SEPTEMBER ISSUES HAVE FINNALLY ARRIVED!!!!!

I have read fashion magazines since I was a very little girl. When I was young, I would read an issue then cut its pages apart. I'd make random scrapbooks and design my own magazines. I wanted to be a fashion editor/writer (I still wouldn't mind but New York City isn't where I want to live). Magazines combine some of my favorite things in life- getting mail, reading, learning, people, places, style, decor, books, music... I get super excited when the September issues come out!

My favorite magazines are Elle, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle and Vogue. I subscribe to tons of others but these four are my loves! I'm definitely old school about certain things. I enjoy reading online but when it comes to books and magazines, I prefer the real deal. I appreciate its tangibility and familiarity. I collect Vogue September issues and have them displayed on a bookshelf. I could go on and on about my love for magazines but I think I'll start reading one instead... I'll be sure to share anything interesting that I discover as well as the best fashion trends for Fall/Winter '11! :)
