"Sweat (A la la la la Long)" by Inner Circle, 1992.
This song takes me back to some of my earliest summer memories spent at the water park and/or pool with my family and best friends. Inner Circle was one of my favorite bands. I remember playing their tapes and CDs on my stereo and recording their music directly from the radio... oh, how times have changed! This is such a feel good tune for me... although the lyrics are a bit contradictory if you really pause to examine it (probably not appropriate for young listeners). When I hear this song, I'm 7-years-old again, on summer vacation from school and without a care in the world... :)

This Is Good. Reallllly Good.
Few things excite me more in this life than when I experience "love at first listen"... That glorious moment, five seconds into an unknown song, when I instantly feel a connection. It stops me in my tracks. I pause from whatever I'm doing and write down the lyrics in my quest to find out the artist and song title. I'm a couple years late to the Hogni listening party but what can you do? As I always say, better late than never :)

11:11
Over the past couple days, I've been glancing at the clock at exactly 11:11 as well as other interesting times. What's weird is that I recently talked at length to one of my clients about the phenomenon. A self-fulfilling prohecy, perhaps? There's a lot online about the spiritual significance of number sequences. Coincidence or not, it's interesting to think about.

Meditation.
After a hectic and stressful week, I really benefitted from this video. If you're not into meditation, give it a try. I prefer to close my eyes in a dark room and lay in a comfortable place. Keep an open mind. Relax. Let go.
