Work of Art

Recently I have been lusting after a Stephen Sprouse Louis Vuitton scarf. While imagining the cashmere and silk fabric chicly wrapped around my neck, I studied the work of the infamous artist who passed away in 2004. It has been too long since I've been to the museum. Pittsburgh has a lot of really amazing ones, so I can't say that I have a good excuse for my absence. But atleast I can virtually admire these images. While I don't typically love modern art, I certainly can see the beauty in Sprouse's work.

Eye Candy!

One of the girls I work with, Nicole, was so sweet to get me a Hello Kitty chocolate marshmallow over the weekend. She knows I love Hello Kitty but I didn't even have to tell her that I loved this type of candy! Delicious! This was the perfect Monday pick-me-up! Since Nicole is a graphic designer, I made this little art collage (a la Andy Warhol) of the Hello Kitty candy she gave me! Thanks, Nicole! :)

Flashback Friday: "Purple Rain" by Prince

In honor of the royal wedding, I chose a Prince song (I know, I know) for this week's flashback Friday! I've always loved "Purple Rain". It's not very upbeat or appropriate for the occasion (I'm sure there's thousands of songs that are) but I'm exchausted at the moment and this was the first song that popped into my head. Fact: This song was released in September 1984- right around the time Prince Harry came into the world. Cheerio!
