"Country Roads" by John Denver is so special to me. It's my alma mater's theme song- played during every tailgate party, after each home football game, house party, last call... etc. You can be anywhere in the country and when this song comes on, there's typically a few Mountaineers raising their glasses and belting out the words. I've witnessed it. It's a beautiful thing. Hell, Hoda Kotb even whipped out her iPod during my commencement speech and played it through the podium microphone. "Teardrops in my eye"... you know it. Add in a slick Pretty Lightsremix and I have been transported into a state of nirvana. October 4th can't come soon enough. I can't wait to experience the live show.
